The FertilityCare Cycle

The cycle below is a typical normal cycle with a normal hormonal profile. If the FertilityCare  pattern shows a good profile such as this, couples can be reassured that they are likely to have a good chance of conception with a successful pregnancy whenever they would wish to conceive. In the interim or between pregnancies, the FertilityCare system can be used confidently to avoid conception with the same reliability as taking the oral contraceptive pill, and with absolutely no adverse side effects.

Biologic Markers of Fertility

The Biologic markers of fertility offer tremendous insight into your fertility potential and gynaecologic health. The markers are observed by the woman and are usually recorded by her husband at the end of each day.  A precise system of observation and recording is taught by a professional teacher-practitioner for the first 3 months. Thereafter couples are largely independent in making their own observations.

The main biologic markers of fertility include the menstrual bleeding pattern, cervical mucus flow, abnormal bleeding, day of ovulation duration and length of the luteal phase of the cycle.

After years of experience observing and interpreting FertilityCare charting patterns it is possible to identify cycles that are within normal limits from those that have optimal or sub-optimal fertility potential. This is possible only because of the accurate documentation of the biologic markers of fertility.

 The Biologic Markers of Sub-fertility

The following FertilityCare charting patterns are just a few examples of abnormal cycles that would indicate poor gynaecologic and reproductive health, associated with an increased risk of subfertility and adverse outcome should conception occur. The trained teacher-practitioner would recommend referral for further medical evaluation if some abnormality is detected from your chart.

Men and FertilityCare

Men in fact are very willing participants in the FertilityCare System. The woman observes her biological markers of fertility throughout each day, but it is the man’s responsibility to record this information in a precise fashion. The process allows men to gain further insight into the menstrual cycle and so discover more about “The Mystery” of woman.

Communication is improved and couples frequently discuss intimate issues surrounding fertility and sex. This has obvious positive implications for the relationship and helps to build the foundation for a lasting marriage.

The process of “Selective Intercourse” whereby couples choose which time of the cycle they wish to use varies according to their intentions at the time. If a couple wish to conceive they target intercourse during the fertile days, otherwise they select the infertile days if they would prefer to avoid pregnancy.

Men can be confident that they are making a sensible choice for their spouse’s health and can improve communication in marriage by using the FertilityCare System.
